Northern California is special place to Jem and Peter. It’s where they met, fell in love and got engaged- it only made sense to take their engagement photos here too. I just so happened to be in Big Sur the last weekend of September for a wedding, so the day after, Andrew and I drove up a little further to meet them at Land’s End in San Francisco.
I packed so many layers expecting some chilly fall weather, but instead we were greeted with the warmest, clearest day I have ever experienced in the Bay area! As expected, the Sutro Baths were packed with people enjoying the beach weather. We found some secluded spots tucked away in the trees to start with and hiked all the way down the stairs to Mile Rock Beach, discussing our shared love of tacos the entire time (I think it made the journey less painful?)
We made our way back to the ruins just in time for the most spectacular sunset overlooking it all. I had so much fun with this witty duo and I can’t wait to return up north next year for their beautiful lakeside glamping wedding! Congrats you two!
